A little about me.

Curiosity got me started. Useful work keeps me interested.

Based in Escanaba, Michigan,
in the Upper Peninsula.

It started with making things.

My interest in technology grew through game modding and online communities—working with Warcraft III and Battlefield 1942, building websites, and learning what it took to keep those spaces running.

That led into hosting, forums, streaming, and the practical work behind them: domains, servers, content, and all the connections in between. I learned by building, testing, and figuring out what needed to happen next.

Technology is only part of the picture.

My work has also taken me through restaurant kitchens and deliveries, sports writing and editorial work at the Daily Press, intake and reception, and community services. At MDSCAA, I manage personal aides who help seniors remain in their homes.

Those experiences sit alongside my technical work. Clear communication, a usable process, and a dependable handoff matter whether I’m helping someone at a front desk, working in a kitchen, or building a software project.

What I’m working on now.

I guide 906Online, the sister company for websites, digital operations, and creative tools, alongside 906.sh, a not-for-profit initiative helping the local 906 with technology and tech-related questions. I also help shape 906 Story Studio, Fiend, and WARDOGS.LOL through product direction, design review, and collaborative development. I work with open-source tools and keep the people using the result at the center of the process.
